MY STORY

I'm passionate about highlighting stories related to the archaeology of childhood and infancy, and interpretations of care in the archaeological record. My interest in bioarchaeology came from my interest in both biological sciences and history. I did my undergraduate degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where I graduated from in 2019. Since 2020 I've been attending the Anthropology (Bioarchaeology) M.A program at Western University in London, Ontario.

My thesis research will use stable isotope analysis of serial dentine sections in order to examine breastfeeding and weaning practices in 19th century Montreal.
